Walk in the Light

Walk in the Light

This week Warren spoke about Walk in the Light.

1 John 1:7, But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

The light of God is about the presence of God in our life right now. Walking in the light means there is nothing we can’t talk to God about. When facing all life’s challenges – be it bad thought, or wrong doing – anything, living in the light means sharing with the Lord everything in your life.

When we get too comfortable we are saying we don’t need to change, and that is walking in darkness. If we walk in the light it doesn’t matter if we are uncomfortable, as the Holy Spirit can still flow through.

There is stuff in each of our lives that living in the light will show up.

Being a Christian means not only receiving salvation but living it too.

By walking in the light we open the door to healing of the very worst things that happen in life.

We obey Him because He loves us, and when we love Him perfection comes through from God.

If we love one another we walk in light, but if we hate one another we walk in darkness.

It is the barrier of our own self that is in opposition to Christ.

We will not transform this town unless we move forward fearlessly and honestly with God.

Let’s Walk in the Light from today.
