Edi spoke about Encounter, Worship & Transformation. The last words are the most important thing. Our encounter with God in reverent worship leads to personal and community transformation.
Encounter: We must go into the presence of God. God is the HOST, not us.
Worship: Worship is a lifestyle. Enthrone Him in our lives Is 6:1-4 says, …I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: with two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they ere flying. And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” and Rev 4:3-5 describes the throne we approach, And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian. A rainbow, resembling an emerald, encircled the throne. Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads. From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder…. These passages describe the throne we approach. We need to hold reverence for the throne. To have the right heart towards our God. Jer 29:13 says, You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. To see a transformation in this community – it starts with us.
- We come to meet and please our living God.
- We should be Holy Spirit conscious.
- God judges our heart and worship. (Did God like your worship today?)
Transformation: Wait and be filled by the Holy Spirit (read Acts 1:4), Go and make disciples (read Matt 28:19)
